Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate research into production-ready systems across rapid prototyping, large-scale dataset curation, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Architect and advance multimodal foundation models covering text, image, audio, and video.
- Design, train, and scale architectures using reinforcement learning, RLHF, and RLAIF.
- Optimize model architectures and inference pipelines through quantization, distillation, pruning, and kernel optimization.
- Develop agent-testing systems using 2D and 3D games, physics simulators, visualizations, leaderboards, and robot-based algorithm testing.
- Partner with research scientists, product managers, and infrastructure teams to deliver AI capabilities to users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of development experience with JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- At least 3 years of experience with machine learning algorithms, research methodologies, and language modeling.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
