Base Salary
$213k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop ultra-realistic world simulation technologies for autonomous vehicles.
- Build simulation systems using foundation models for embodied agents and generative AI.
- Apply machine learning expertise to improve simulation realism and steerability.
- Collaborate with Waymo’s foundational AI research team to transfer research into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Develop and integrate machine learning models for autonomous-driving simulation and testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with Python.
- 5+ years of experience with machine learning software and frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Flax.
- Preferred: experience creating or developing machine learning models for robotics or self-driving vehicles.
- Preferred: strong production C++ experience, including integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Preferred: experience training large-scale models on GPU or TPU clusters.
