Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to promote code quality, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and adapt it based on product updates and user feedback.
- Design and implement recommendation-system models across domains, including retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, and embedding.
- Use ML infrastructure and contribute to software architecture design.
- Use AI tools and technologies and discuss related knowledge and experience during the hiring process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging.
- At least 1 year of experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: understanding of modern recommendation architectures, including two-tower models and sequential user modeling, and integrating large foundation models into ranking and retrieval stacks.
Benefits
- US base pay is $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
