Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor engineers and solution designers across the Product-to-Cash domain, particularly on Revenue Cloud Advanced and billing.
- Partner with Salesforce, enterprise, data, integration, solution, product, and business stakeholders to align architecture and resolve complex challenges.
- Produce high-level designs, low-level designs, and conceptual architecture diagrams for technical and business audiences.
- Manage architecture and system roadmaps and define, maintain, and enforce Salesforce platform standards.
- Build proofs of concept, research emerging Salesforce and billing capabilities, and validate architectural decisions.
- Architect and govern end-to-end Product-to-Cash capabilities, including quoting, contracting, ordering, fulfilment, billing, invoicing, revenue, customer success, and customer support.
- Design and govern integrations and ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and seamless data flow across billing, ERP, and other systems.
- Provide hands-on Revenue Cloud Advanced and CPQ coaching, including configuration patterns, design trade-offs, and implementation practices.
- Identify and remediate process and technology gaps and ensure designs are handed off clearly to development teams.
- Apply Agentforce and Claude-based solutions where they provide value and promote architectural design patterns and standard processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience spanning implementation, configuration, and solution design.
- 3–5 years of Salesforce architecture experience, with the minimum required stated as 3 years.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Revenue Cloud Advanced and CPQ, including the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and conceptual diagrams and managing architecture and system roadmaps.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering end-to-end Product-to-Cash solutions and complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
- Strong experience with billing systems and platforms, including invoicing, billing schedules, payments, dunning, and revenue recognition.
- Experience designing and governing cross-system integrations and resolving process and technology gaps.
- Exposure to Agentforce and Claude-based solutions and experience with Salesforce Connected Apps and Salesforce AppExchange applications.
- Familiarity with managed packages such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics, or similar enterprise applications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and the Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud ecosystem.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, C4, or ArchiMate.
- Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of security architecture principles and practices.
