Responsibilities
- Lead engineering, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud platforms.
- Provide technical expertise for complex cloud initiatives, migrations, modernization efforts, and enterprise technology projects.
- Develop and implement automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud engineering practices.
- Apply Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework principles to assess and optimize cloud workloads.
- Lead improvements to cloud resilience, performance, security posture, cost efficiency, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, capacity management, and operational maturity.
- Conduct complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for critical cloud issues.
- Mentor Cloud Engineers and promote cloud engineering best practices.
- Partner with architects, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on strategic cloud initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience supporting and engineering enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud solutions.
- 5+ years of experience developing automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud engineering practices.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex cloud initiatives, migrations, modernization efforts, and technical improvements.
- 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with architects, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Azure architecture, hybrid cloud, networking, compute, storage, security, and platform optimization.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, PowerShell, Azure CLI, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, cloud standards, security controls, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
- Understanding of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
