Responsibilities
- Design and develop functional, high-performing features, systems, and APIs for the online banking platform.
- Build Java-based batch processing and Spring Boot microservices applications.
- Develop frontend functionality using React or Angular.
- Work with developers through code reviews and pair programming.
- Analyze existing software systems and connect applications to relevant data sources.
- Write unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for recurring tasks.
- Apply REST and SOAP services, relational database concepts, cloud design principles, and web application security practices.
Requirements
- 7–12+ years of experience with Spring Boot microservices and Java Hibernate/ORM.
- Strong Java experience, including batch processing, REST, SOAP, and web application security.
- Experience with React or Angular and a strong understanding of REST APIs.
- Understanding of relational databases and exposure to PL/SQL.
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Confluence.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation tools such as JUnit, Jasmine, and Jest.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design, cloud design principles, and UNIX/Linux scripting.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, participate in code reviews and pair programming, and design complete technical solutions.
