Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to major Self-managed, GitLab Dedicated, and GitLab.com customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex support issues using various tools and utilities.
- Build proactive relationships with customer stakeholders to address technical blockers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive bug fixes and influence product development.
- Act as a technical expert on GitLab and CI/CD implementations.
- Create and improve support content, including documentation and knowledge articles.
- Partner with Support Engineering team members to share knowledge and solve problems.
- Participate in hiring processes to contribute to team growth.
Requirements
- Experience managing complex customer-facing support cases from inquiry to resolution.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for multi-layered technical issues.
- Strong Linux systems administration knowledge, including performance analysis.
- Practical experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to write and maintain clear support content like knowledge articles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby or Bash.
- Effective communication skills for diverse technical audiences.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and technologies like Kubernetes.
