Base Salary
$142k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the scalable backend platform supporting worldwide real-time services.
- Build platform infrastructure and tooling for live drone operations.
- Ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and performant.
- Prototype new project ideas for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hardware and autonomy teams on streaming and displaying live drone data in multiple formats.
- Support low-latency telemetry, video distribution, remote control links, and system uptime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years of experience shipping high-quality code and building robust infrastructure.
- Experience building backend platforms from infrastructure through the API layer.
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and comfort working across software engineering and Cloud DevOps.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and the performance-cost tradeoffs of operating servers at scale.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud architectures focused on scale, performance, and security.
- Preferred experience with real-time systems or embedded software development.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
