Responsibilities
- Design, plan, develop, test, and deliver components for Intel- and ARM-based platforms.
- Build, customize, and maintain Linux distributions using Yocto and scripting languages.
- Develop management services and system daemons primarily in Rust.
- Contribute to build infrastructure, build and release management, and device management and update processes.
- Investigate technologies, components, and methodologies and create experiments to validate technical analyses.
- Collaborate with teammates by providing and receiving technical feedback, guidance, and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in embedded software development or systems programming using C, C++, Rust, Go, or an equivalent language.
- Knowledge of Linux and its services and tooling.
- Experience writing scripts with Bash, Python, or an equivalent language.
- Experience with DevOps or build tooling and processes.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as routing and firewalls and protocols such as DNS and DHCP.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with Yocto, Rust or Erlang, embedded/IoT firmware lifecycle and fleet management, cybersecurity and secure-system development, UEFI, TPM, bootloaders, Secure Boot, initramfs, Docker, or Kubernetes is an asset.
