Responsibilities
- Plan and organize assigned development work.
- Define, implement, and validate new hardware board drivers and communication protocols.
- Add features, improve performance, and correct errors in existing drivers.
- Integrate drivers into the RT-LAB and HYPERSIM software products.
- Test board drivers and write technical documentation.
- Maintain CPU-to-FPGA communication interfaces using C/C++.
- Develop and maintain industrial-standard communication protocols using C/C++.
- Develop and maintain higher-level graphical configuration interfaces using C++ and Java.
- Integrate low-level software drivers for third-party hardware.
- Participate in code reviews and provide customer support when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant C/C++ development experience.
- Required programming knowledge in C/C++, Linux, and POSIX.
- French is required, with good English skills for reading specialized or scientific material and using software unavailable in French.
- Experience with real-time concepts, Git/GitLab, MATLAB/Simulink, Java, gdb, socket programming, multithreading, JIRA/Confluence, Python, shell scripting, FPGA programming concepts, or PCIe concepts is an asset.
- Strong organization, rigor, determination, adaptability, autonomy, interpersonal communication, judgment, analytical ability, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
