Responsibilities
- Build edge and IoT solutions for real-time data processing, device connectivity, and industrial-to-cloud integration.
- Develop reliable applications using Python and other programming languages.
- Design, deploy, troubleshoot, optimize, and support solutions through production.
- Provide Level 3 support, including troubleshooting and hot fixes during occasional non-working hours and weekends.
- Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, product teams, and global cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to cloud-native deployments, integration testing, and ongoing reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience developing edge applications in Python, C, and C++.
- Understanding of IoT communication protocols including MQTT, AMQP, Modbus, and OPC UA, as well as security.
- Experience implementing IoT solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, Git source code management, test-driven development, integration testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Embedded software development experience with RTOS, ADCs, or buffers is preferred.
- Experience with Raspberry Pi, VirtualBox, or VMware is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
