Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver software across the full lifecycle, including front-end, back-end, and integrations.
- Plan workflows, optimize processes, and support quality assurance.
- Implement customer requirements and design new features.
- Analyze and design overall technical solutions.
- Code hands-on within projects using Java and other applicable technologies.
- Collaborate daily with the team and contribute to full-cycle delivery.
- Support DevOps-focused work, including CI/CD and continuous integration pipelines.
- Travel to client sites anywhere in the UK when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle and ability to code within projects.
- Full-stack or backend engineering background with Java, Spring, and AWS experience.
- Experience working in a DevOps role and willingness to work in a DevOps-focused position.
- Experience with databases, including MongoDB, SQL, or document databases.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, continuous integration, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Liquibase.
- Experience with unit testing and Model-View-Controller architecture.
- Previous involvement in developing and delivering major IT solutions.
- Understanding of agile tools and techniques.
- Curiosity about new technologies, strong communication skills, professional attitude, and ambition to progress.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to client sites anywhere in the UK when needed.
