Responsibilities
- Gather user requirements from manufacturing and engineering teams for new projects and initiatives.
- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and enhance scalable analytics software applications and manufacturing systems.
- Develop web, desktop, database, backend, and cloud-based solutions that support regional business users and manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, propose solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement features.
- Conduct acceptance testing and ensure system enhancements are accurate and reliable before implementation.
- Create project documentation, user guides, and training materials, and train operations staff on manufacturing systems.
- Modify, adapt, and transfer systems across departments and manufacturing sites.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics software development using .NET and Angular technologies.
- Proficiency in desktop and web application development using C#.NET, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
- Understanding or exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Business Objects and with data and analytics tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Spark, or Python.
- Understanding of digital application architecture, design patterns, object-oriented programming, and tools such as Git, JIRA, and DevOps.
- Experience with data engineering and analytics practices, plus strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, work autonomously, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
