Base Salary
$168k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Independently scope, design, and deliver solutions for complex challenges across backend, web, and mobile.
- Drive the architecture for onboarding, compliance, and customer support workflows.
- Set technical direction and provide guidance across product units.
- Leverage AI coding tools and automation to enhance development processes.
- Own the DevOps lifecycle for the systems built, including monitoring and maintenance.
- Plan and deliver complex, multi-team projects with external dependencies.
- Conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality and security.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the team's technical direction and culture.
- Resolve high-stakes problems and align work with company objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with complex production systems.
- Proven track record of delivering large, multi-system projects.
- Ability to work across multiple layers of the stack, including backend and web/mobile.
- Proficiency in a typed language and comfort with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building consumer-facing applications with UX/UI understanding.
- Fluency in AI coding tools and automation in daily workflows.
- Expertise in unit and integration testing with a focus on code health.
- Customer and product-focused mindset with tradeoff decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and excellent communication skills.
