Base Salary
$170k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events and network telemetry from multiple public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, and deliver robust service architectures.
- Own critical features and subsystems through requirements clarification, development, deployment, and customer usage.
- Operate production systems and use operational experience to improve software supportability.
- Maintain code quality through early developer testing and functional and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management to review and refine customer requirements.
- Develop understanding of customer problems through interaction with stakeholders and peers.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- Experience with REST API clients.
- Experience in a Kubernetes-based containerized service environment is desired.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge and experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- Willingness to continuously learn, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to work with software and technology subject to U.S. export controls in compliance with applicable requirements.
