Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from Intelligence Analysts and Technical Analysts as internal customers.
- Design, prototype, implement, deploy, operate, document, and train users on scalable intelligence-processing systems.
- Develop processing pipelines, information-storage systems, and presentation layers for large-scale information collection and exploration.
- Maintain new and legacy systems over the long term.
- Autonomously develop requirements and make implementation decisions balancing development speed, scalability, and performance.
- Communicate technical details clearly and collaborate with distributed teammates and internal customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic/work experience.
- Demonstrated multi-year experience in software engineering and developing scalable, distributed, production-grade services.
- Proficiency with Linux, containers, multiple programming languages, SQL, NoSQL database systems, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to maintain and improve existing Go and Python codebases.
- Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, prioritize work, communicate clearly, and collaborate on a geographically distributed team.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Bonus: familiarity with AWS or GCP, including EC2, S3, VPC, or ECS.
- Bonus: experience developing web UIs and single-page applications, scalable HTTP APIs, malware analysis, software reverse engineering, or offensive information security such as CTF competitions.
