Responsibilities
- Develop Linux user-space and kernel code supporting DMA and hardware/software integration.
- Build software agents that interface with switching ASICs, FPGAs, media adapters, and PCIe bridges.
- Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, routing policies, forwarding-state updates, and routing-model reconciliation.
- Access ASIC registers through SPI, SMBus, PCIe, and I2C to implement timers and collect hardware and network-flow statistics.
- Develop Go and Python configuration-management services supporting YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, SSH, and SSL.
- Develop concurrent, fault-tolerant routing protocol agents in C/C++ within an embedded Fedora Linux environment.
- Build and maintain automated Python-based continuous test harnesses for hundreds of devices under test.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge in one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Go, React.js, Redux.js, Node.js, networking, Linux, embedded systems, algorithms, programming, or software development.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication in a collaborative, highly technical team environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for solving challenging technology problems.
