Responsibilities
- Design, code, and deploy strategic solutions for business-prioritized requirements.
- Develop Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and single-page application solutions.
- Build and integrate applications with MongoDB and perform performance tuning.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure solution quality, correctness, and alignment with business requirements.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, testing, CI/CD automation, production releases, and deployment activities.
- Ensure solutions follow organizational technical architecture and data model principles.
- Triage technical issues and lead teams toward problem resolution.
- Collaborate with project managers, product managers, product owners, quality engineers, DevOps teams, and other technology specialists.
- Improve configurable and extensible solutions and contribute to an innovative engineering culture.
- Manage the agile delivery team as part of the role.
Requirements
- Hands-on development experience with the Java technology stack.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including performance tuning and integration with Java applications.
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and technical architecture disciplines.
- Hands-on experience building applications using microservices architecture.
- Experience with build tools such as NPM and Gradle.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, Cypress, and Cucumber.
- Experience with source control and tools such as Git.
- Experience with mobile application design and architecture.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and understanding of how development work translates to business end users.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams and build meaningful working relationships.
