Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing across applications, APIs, vendor integrations, and downstream systems.
- Define test strategy, scope, environments, test data requirements, timelines, and quality deliverables.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
- Create and execute performance, load, stress, and volume testing and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and validate remediation.
- Coordinate defect triage, issue prioritization, resolution tracking, release approvals, production deployments, post-release validation, and warranty activities.
- Lead and mentor offshore QA team members and coordinate testing across distributed onsite and offshore teams.
- Validate functional, integration, regression, automation, performance, security, and production verification results before release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, or an additional 2+ years of IT experience involving IT Analytics, IT Troubleshooting, or IT Customer Service in lieu of the degree.
- Expertise in both manual and automated QA testing methodologies.
- Experience leading QA for enterprise-scale applications involving APIs, distributed systems, and third-party integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Experience implementing automated API, UI, regression, and integration testing solutions.
- Experience with performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, BlazeMeter, or similar tools.
- Experience leading offshore QA teams in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong SQL and data validation skills, including validation of large datasets and complex business transactions.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
- Experience with defect management, test management, and tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Payments, cards, banking, or financial services domain experience is preferred.
