Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend architectures and portals using React and TypeScript.
Investigate complex platform issues, audit unfamiliar codebases, identify root causes, and produce written architectural recommendations.
Build and maintain Node.js and Go backend services, including backend-for-frontend layers, APIs, and tooling services.
Improve developer experience through automation, documentation, tooling, platform standards, and engineering practices.
Guide developers through code reviews, design discussions, pairing, and frontend architecture decisions.
Lead platform improvement initiatives focused on usability, adoption, reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
Optimize application performance, bundle size, and runtime efficiency while balancing platform stability and API evolution.
Contribute to testing strategies, architecture proposals, cross-team technical strategy, and Agile development processes.

At least 3 years of software development experience.
Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web architectures.
Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, including hooks, state management, and performance.
Experience with large-scale monorepos, server-state management, client-side routing, and Node.js backend development.
Hands-on experience with Go and testing infrastructure covering unit, component, and end-to-end testing.
Ability to investigate complex codebases independently and produce clear written architectural assessments.
Ability to balance ideal architecture with practical constraints, adapt to changing priorities, and context-switch across initiatives.
Preferred: experience with Storybook or other design systems, Nx, Turborepo, Lerna, GitHub Actions, TanStack Query, TanStack Router, Webpack, Vite, Rollup, Next.js, cloud platforms, observability tools, developer tools, REST, and GraphQL.
Preferred: deep knowledge of web performance, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, API integration, SSR/SSG, micro-frontends, and monitoring.
