Responsibilities
- Investigate safe enterprise usage patterns for agentic development tools including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Design and implement guardrails, controls, and engineering practices for AI-assisted development.
- Contribute to endpoint and platform observability, telemetry, and policy enforcement.
- Define consistent controls across local development environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Explore containerized and backend-offloaded development environments.
- Conduct research, proof-of-concepts, and technical experimentation, then turn findings into practical implementations.
- Collaborate across engineering, platform, security, and enterprise teams on governance, rollout, and developer adoption.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience.
- Broad technical understanding across developer tooling, cloud platforms, operating systems, desktop environments, security controls, observability, telemetry, and CI/CD.
- Experience working on developer workflows and engineering practices rather than only end-user application delivery.
- Ability to turn research and experimentation into practical implementations in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical disciplines and stakeholder groups.
- Curiosity, sound engineering judgment, and comfort operating across discipline boundaries.
- Desirable: experience adopting AI-assisted development tools in enterprises; secure developer environments, guardrails, or policy enforcement; containerized or remote development; telemetry, usage analytics, or engineering reporting pipelines; regulated environments; and data engineering or analytics.
