Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver full-stack Webex web application features used by millions of people.
- Write secure, maintainable code and debug, test, and resolve issues in development and production.
- Own and shape major portions of the web application architecture and participate in multi-team design evaluations.
- Support deployment, telemetry development, monitoring, and maintenance of distributed systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and UX teams on customer-facing feature delivery.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, documentation, and development programs.
- Contribute to open-source libraries, developer ecosystem SDKs, accessibility initiatives, and design-system work where applicable.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building and maintaining client-facing applications in production environments.
- Strong software development fundamentals, architecture knowledge, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies.
- Experience monitoring production systems and validating software systems at scale.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, modern C++, Swift, Java, or C#.
- Preferred experience with React, Angular, UIKit, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or similar UI frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Java Spring, Node.js, Python, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets.
- Preferred experience with unit, integration, end-to-end, contract, and automated testing in CI pipelines.
- Preferred experience with Git, DevOps practices, continuous integration and delivery, cloud infrastructure, application monitoring, WebRTC, SIP, open-source libraries, or UI design systems.
