Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, including design, implementation, evaluation, deployment, and production delivery.
- Direct AI agents through much of the build and verify their output to production-quality standards.
- Write evaluations for delivered work and improve shared prompts, context, harnesses, and agent skills.
- Determine when AI is inappropriate for security-sensitive code, novel biometric algorithms, or deep-system work.
- Work across the product stack and collaborate with product and engineering colleagues as needed.
- At the senior level, deliver high-impact solutions across team boundaries, define agent strategy, own team evaluation practices, and develop other engineers.
Requirements
- Have shipped software used by real users and be able to explain failures and lessons learned.
- Be comfortable across multiple languages or stacks while having genuine depth in at least one.
- Have hands-on experience developing with AI agents such as Claude Code or comparable tools.
- Demonstrate a consistent practice of verifying correctness for both personally written and agent-generated work.
- Be comfortable scoping ambiguous requirements and independently determining an implementation approach.
- For mid-level scope, independently own complex Epic-sized requirements with light guidance and contribute to shared agent setup.
- For senior-level scope, lead high-impact cross-team delivery, shape agent strategy, own evaluation discipline, articulate design tradeoffs, and develop engineers.
- Preferred experience includes Java, Python, Go, C++, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, biometrics, computer vision, identity verification, evaluation pipelines, test harnesses, CI quality gates, cloud infrastructure, or container orchestration.
