Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded security testing, controls, guardrails, and automated checks.
- Partner with development, MLOps, Data Science, AI, and engineering teams to implement practical application, cloud-native, Kubernetes, and container security controls.
- Translate security requirements into standards and solutions for Data & AI development environments.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate CVEs and other vulnerabilities with application teams.
- Contribute to security testing, monitoring, observability, tooling, automation, and continuous security improvement.
- Advise engineering teams on emerging security issues and support secure software development and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a DevSecOps or Application Security Engineer.
- Senior/staff-level technical depth and independence in owning complex security topics.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and GitHub, GitLab, or comparable tooling.
- Experience automating security guardrails, testing, and checks within development pipelines.
- Expertise in application and cloud-native security, including Kubernetes and container security.
- Experience with vulnerability management, CVEs, security scanning, triage, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Ability to work closely with developers and embed security into software development and deployment.
- Experience with Python and Data & AI/ML environments is a plus.
