Responsibilities
- Improve search quality and user experience through query analysis, text relevance matching, multimodal matching, and product-search implementation.
- Design and implement end-to-end ranking systems covering recall, first-stage ranking, final-stage ranking, and mixed-row ranking.
- Develop personalized shopping-interest models and improve conversion efficiency for merchandise, video, and live-stream commerce.
- Solve ecosystem challenges including supply-and-demand matching, business cold starts, and sustainable business growth.
- Analyze and evolve systems using statistics, scripting, programming, and relevant model-deployment platforms.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completed a PhD in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent coding skills and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analysis, modeling, and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify core issues in complex data.
- Industry work experience in machine learning and good product sense focused on user experience.
- Self-driven, adaptable, communicative, and able to understand business needs and promote project implementation.
- Publication records in top journals or conferences and ACM-ICPC medals are preferred qualifications.
