Responsibilities
- Lead teams delivering large, complex, and ambiguous initiatives across team boundaries.
- Own engineering outcomes and performance improvements jointly with the Engineering Manager.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and durable, scalable, secure designs.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers to shape technical and product vision.
- Identify cross-team friction, resolve competing priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach engineers while promoting effective use of AI tooling across Product Engineering.
Requirements
- Track record of owning complex, ambiguous delivery across team boundaries and driving business outcomes.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills with a feedback-oriented approach.
- Experience with at least one major programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Clojure.
- Recognized technical authority trusted by colleagues across sub-departments.
- Ability to navigate cross-team misalignment and differing priorities.
- Proven ability to use AI tooling personally and help teams build fluency with it.
