Base Salary
$139k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Audit company-wide use of AI tools and MCP integrations and map their access to sensitive systems, data, and credentials.
- Design and implement layered AI security guardrails, including enterprise system prompts, scoped permissions, and sandboxing patterns.
- Maintain inventories of MCP servers and AI-to-service connections with documented data-access controls.
- Partner with users to incorporate secure-by-default patterns into AI-assisted workflows.
- Evaluate AI tools, plugins, and integration requests and determine secure implementation approaches.
- Continuously test and red-team guardrails to identify weaknesses.
- Document practical security guidance for non-security users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional software development experience with strong fundamentals in services, APIs, and permissions.
- Hands-on experience using Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar AI coding or productivity tools in business-critical workflows.
- Working knowledge of least privilege, sandboxing, trust boundaries, and threat-modeling fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with engineers.
- Preferred experience with MCP or similar tool-calling and agent-integration frameworks.
- Preferred exposure to prompt injection, jailbreaking, or other AI/LLM-specific attack techniques.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or other safety-critical systems is a bonus.
