Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Finhub Tooling platform.
- Drive an AI-first approach to internal tooling to enhance operational efficiency.
- Architect and develop high-reliability systems for multiple stakeholder groups.
- Build alignment and secure commitment from cross-functional partners.
- Define engineering processes, quality standards, and best practices.
- Maintain high-volume technical output while mentoring the team.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to create a quarterly roadmap.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code for internal customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience designing and building fault-tolerant, highly reliable systems at scale.
- Ability to architect solutions for ambiguous problems with significant impact.
- Proven track record of driving technical strategy and roadmap.
- Experience building alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
- History of elevating team technical quality through mentorship and process improvements.
- Passion for building an open financial system.
- Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools in workflows.
