Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI and regression environments for large-scale test suites across Linux and Windows.
- Design and maintain a scalable execution engine that efficiently uses machine and storage resources.
- Design and maintain databases for assets, releases, and results, including reporting and dashboards.
- Integrate and support hardware emulation platforms as execution targets in the automation flow.
- Improve the validation automation ecosystem and infrastructure.
- Align tools teams around common CI and regression methodologies.
- Collaborate with tools, architecture, design, and verification teams to support quality releases and clear presentation of complex results.
Requirements
- Solid software engineering experience building automation, tooling, or infrastructure with strong Python and shell scripting proficiency.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining software across Linux and Windows.
- Experience designing or operating regression or CI systems such as Jenkins or GitLab CI and job schedulers such as LSF or Slurm.
- Experience designing databases and services for large volumes of assets, releases, and results, along with reporting or dashboards.
- Experience with QEMU or similar software emulation or virtualization platforms.
- Experience operating compute and storage resources at scale and optimizing throughput, reliability, and turnaround time.
- Working knowledge of Git, build systems, and DevOps or release-engineering practices.
- Familiarity with Synopsys ZeBu, Cadence Palladium, or Siemens Veloce hardware emulation platforms is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
