Responsibilities
- Design and develop applied AI application components using text, vision, and structured data.
- Build and iterate prototypes, support demonstrations, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Contribute to the AI development lifecycle from experimentation through deployment.
- Develop and integrate backend services and APIs with enterprise systems and compliance requirements.
- Support experiment tracking, model versioning, and CI/CD workflows for production transition.
- Collaborate with product teams, architects, and domain experts to refine use cases and deliver business value.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering or ML engineering experience, including at least 2 years of applied AI or data-driven application development.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language and strong Python skills for AI applications, data pipelines, and backend services.
- Experience or exposure to PyTorch, FastAPI, LangChain, and LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or Mistral.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, data preprocessing, and structured or unstructured data.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with chatbots, copilots, RAG solutions, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LLM evaluation, prompt optimization, computer vision, NLP, or applied AI projects.
- Aerospace, engineering, or analytics domain exposure is preferred.
