Responsibilities
- Rearchitect the monolithic payment system into a cloud-native, microservices-based architecture using domain-driven design.
- Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, reliable, and highly available payment-system components.
- Use Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for system performance and availability.
- Drive adoption of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and seamless integration and deployment practices.
- Evaluate technologies, tools, frameworks, and cloud approaches for the payment infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience rearchitecting large-scale monolithic applications into cloud-native architectures.
- Strong Kubernetes experience is required.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js, plus modern frameworks and libraries.
- At least 3 years of experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including serverless architectures, containers, and orchestration.
- At least 3 years of experience in the payment domain.
- At least 2 years of experience with payment industry standards, protocols, and security best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
