Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable banking document output management solutions aligned with product, client, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Create and maintain Quadient Inspire Flex templates, reusable components, styles, business rules, data mappings, multilingual content, and rendering configurations.
- Develop Java-based services, extensions, and integrations connecting banking applications, data sources, and downstream distribution channels.
- Translate document and communication requirements into technical designs, data mappings, and implementation plans with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Manage document solution versioning, testing, deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, upgrades, maintenance, and controlled retirement.
- Implement unit, integration, regression, and output-comparison tests covering business rules, data accuracy, layout, performance, and backward compatibility.
- Conduct code and template reviews, contribute to standards and documentation, and share expertise through coaching, knowledge transfer, and pair programming.
- Own assigned components and document domains while ensuring operational stability, traceability, availability, and collaboration with support and delivery teams.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Quadient Inspire Flex, including Inspire Designer, template creation, reusable components, styles, business rules, data mapping, multilingual content, interactive documents, rendering, and output validation.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end banking document lifecycle, including source-data analysis, template development, testing, versioning, deployment, distribution, monitoring, maintenance, and retirement.
- Hands-on experience with modern Java, Spring Boot, XML and JSON processing, SQL, and automated unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven or Gradle, code reviews, debugging, dependency management, secure coding, and technical documentation.
- Experience with containerized applications and Avaloq-environment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, JMS, REST-based integration, relational databases, and cloud-native operations.
- Ability to analyze document data structures and integration contracts and troubleshoot issues across templates, rendering services, and downstream delivery channels.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted development tools, including the judgment to review, test, secure, and validate generated code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach, particularly for regulated banking documents.
- Fluency in English and effective collaboration skills with engineers, template developers, product owners, architects, business analysts, and operations teams.
- Knowledge of the Avaloq Banking Suite and Avaloq Core output processes is a bonus.
