Software Developer – Security Attack Test Benches

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing test-bench architecture and gather requirements from security evaluators and researchers.
  • Develop and maintain Java features, modules, and integrations within the existing test-bench architecture.
  • Use C to design and implement secure test applications for microcontrollers, RTOS environments, and other hardware.
  • Integrate new laboratory instruments and develop Swing-based user-interface components.
  • Extend, execute, and validate functional, performance, and security tests for product releases.
  • Create and maintain automated build, integration, testing, and deployment scripts and pipelines.
  • Document system requirements, software architecture, technical specifications, design decisions, and feature requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and C, including C for microcontrollers and RTOS environments.
  • Experience with Maven, Swing-based UI components, Windows and Linux development environments, protocols, byte-level programming, and Git.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, cybersecurity testing methodologies, secure coding, and threat modeling.
  • Preferred experience with NetBeans Platform, Java Native Interface, lab-instrument communication, smartcards, NFC, Docker, virtualization, cloud environments, fuzz testing, fault injection, side-channel attacks, cryptography algorithms, CUDA/GPU computing, Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Motivation to learn cybersecurity analysis and attack techniques and to work in the security evaluation field.
