Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of backend services for creative ingestion and delivery.
- Act as technical lead on medium- to large-scale projects, translating creative requirements into technical designs.
- Architect services for managing creative metadata and ensuring high availability for online ad serving.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Machine Learning teams to optimize creative asset performance.
- Build tooling for creative A/B testing and performance analytics.
- Design reliable creative data pipelines with data and infrastructure partners.
- Drive engineering best practices and address technical debt.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide design guidance.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with backend or platform experience.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages like Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, or Python.
- Strong system design skills with a track record of leading complex services.
- Experience with web services/APIs and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Proven ability to act as a technical lead and deliver high-quality projects.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
