Responsibilities
- Write, test, and maintain Java 21 code for core financial microservices.
- Develop reliable services using microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message-driven patterns.
- Use Kiro and Claude Code for technical scoping, code generation, debugging, and unit and integration testing.
- Participate in code reviews and follow shared engineering and quality standards.
- Contribute reusable components through the team’s inner-source approach.
- Maintain and support AWS and Terraform infrastructure resources.
- Work with product teams to understand technical requirements and deliver business outcomes.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with other teams.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Java and microservices architecture.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI development tools into software engineering workflows and validating their output.
- Understanding of system design and reliability engineering principles.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and with message brokers.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD practices, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and core AWS services.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog or AWS CloudWatch.
- Optional experience with C#/.NET, TypeScript/React, or fintech.
