Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical advisor to Naval Special Warfare stakeholders and guide architecture and modernization of mission and enterprise systems.
- Develop technology strategies focused on scalability, security, operational resilience, AI, cloud platforms, and data analytics.
- Lead the architecture and integration of secure systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including ERP transformation and data platforms.
- Architect solutions using AWS, containerization, APIs, and modern DevSecOps deployment practices while meeting DoD cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
- Lead technical teams delivering secure software and infrastructure in classified and mission environments, including system integration with Navy and DoD systems.
- Brief senior Navy leadership and translate operational needs and complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and facilitate collaboration among government stakeholders, engineering teams, and industry partners.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required, and applicants must be eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance; only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
- At least 12 years of technical experience supporting enterprise or mission systems is required.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical architecture and modernization efforts in DoD environments is required.
- Deep experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS, distributed systems, modern software applications, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments is required.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and familiarity with NIST RMF, Zero Trust, and FISMA are required.
- Ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, communicate clearly, and brief senior government stakeholders is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, U.S. Navy or Naval Special Warfare experience, Navy ERP modernization experience, AWS certifications, DoD network integration experience, and special operations, maritime, or operational mission experience.
