Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, document, and measure chatbot flows, IVR configurations, and N8N/Make automation workflows across nine countries.
- Develop and maintain PHP RESTful APIs used by bot and IVR systems, including Git pull request workflows and releases.
- Integrate Generative AI, dynamic knowledge bases, agentic automation, and prompt engineering to improve CX metrics.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and produce technical PRDs and Confluence documentation.
- Support technical evaluation, configuration, and integration work for Amazon Connect and UJET IVR platform migrations.
- Manage Jira backlog items, participate in Scrum ceremonies, ship unit- and integration-tested solutions, monitor post-release performance, and report business impact.
Requirements
- Experience with PHP 8.x, RESTful API design and consumption, Postman, MySQL, Docker, and Git branching, pull request, and release workflows.
- Experience with conversational AI and/or IVR platforms, plus understanding of Generative AI concepts and agentic automation.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, PSR standards, PHP best practices, and API documentation standards.
- Experience in CX, fintech, or operations-embedded technical teams working across countries and cultures.
- Ability to deliver automation solutions autonomously, improve Bot Handle Rate, cost-per-contact, and BSAT metrics, and maintain well-tested and documented code.
- Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder-facing confidence, customer-centricity, data-driven delivery, cross-cultural collaboration, and fluent English.
- Preferred experience with Python, JavaScript, N8N, Make, Zendesk AI Agents, Talkdesk, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Amazon Connect, UJET, Spanish or Portuguese, fintech, financial services, CX, or BPO-embedded technical roles.
