Base Salary
$160k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop sensor and compute systems for autonomous robotics.
- Architect and deploy Nuro sensor and autonomous software with high reliability and performance.
- Deliver reliable software through metrics monitoring, automated testing, and vendor collaboration.
- Debug complex systems, identify root causes, and deploy effective solutions.
- Lead cross-functional sensor and compute projects for autonomous vehicles.
- Mentor software engineers and support their technical development.
Requirements
- Experience in robotics or autonomous driving systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++, particularly concurrency, and expertise in system software from device-driver through application level.
- Deep understanding of Linux kernel-level algorithmic correctness and performance optimization.
- At least 6 years of experience with a bachelor's or master's degree, or at least 4 years with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Clear and concise communication and effective collaboration with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
