Responsibilities
- Secure enterprise network changes across on-premises and cloud environments and audit network designs and configurations.
- Evaluate firewall change requests and design, enforce, and audit policies for NGFWs, load balancers, routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Manage and tune Secure Service Edge and SaaS security tooling to detect risky behavior, misconfigurations, and data-exfiltration paths.
- Review SaaS security architectures, define security standards, support incident investigations, and develop reusable review documentation.
- Assess security risks in AI platforms, copilots, agent-based systems, and AI-assisted workflows, including access controls, prompt and data leakage, and tool or plugin abuse.
- Monitor AI-related telemetry and logs, support threat modeling and risk assessments, and translate emerging AI security threats into enterprise safeguards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
- At least 5 years of experience in information security or security engineering.
- One or more industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, SANS/GIAC, or CCNA.
- Strong experience securing AWS networking, including NACLs, Security Groups, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway, and Network Firewall.
- Hands-on experience with NGFWs, WAFs, load balancers, and enterprise network segmentation.
- Strong scripting or automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Deep understanding of subnetting, routing, and network isolation principles.
- Experience with SaaS security platforms, CASB, or SSE tooling.
- Familiarity with identity-driven security models such as SSO, OAuth, API tokens, and service principals is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code workflows is preferred.
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments, strong technical documentation skills, and effective communication across technical and non-technical teams are preferred.
- Exposure to AI systems, model-assisted tooling, or developer copilots in an enterprise context is preferred.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers is required.
