Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Fintech Risk Platform software using React and/or Java/Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, analytics, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and improve risk and compliance capabilities.
- Develop AI-enhanced applications using GenAI concepts and frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate fintech ecosystem risks through compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Use statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to support decision-making and feature development.
- Define metrics and implement executive dashboards to monitor platform performance.
- Build automated, consistent, and scalable data pipelines and models for risk data.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation and interpret results to improve platform efficiency.
- Monitor developments in fintech and AI technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience designing and developing software solutions.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React and/or back-end frameworks including Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI concepts and frameworks such as OpenAI, GPT, SageMaker, or Bedrock, including practical AI integration.
- Prior experience in financial-platform risk and compliance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fintech concepts, payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
- Proficiency with AWS and familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization frameworks or tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, data storytelling, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and driving outcomes across engineering, product, and analytics teams.
