Base Salary
$135k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java backend and server-side applications for Credit eTrading and Global Spread Products.
- Build and improve scalable data platforms, data pipelines, analytics products, system performance, and cost efficiency.
- Create standardized eTrading workflows for model packaging, deployment standards, and reproducible training methods.
- Develop and optimize performance-critical, low-latency trading systems using concurrent processing.
- Partner with business teams to understand needs, manage expectations, and drive product adoption and scale.
- Identify technical bottlenecks, recommend platform improvements, and prioritize work with leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience developing Java and J2EE/JEE technologies, with a focus on server-side development.
- Proven ability to translate complex business problems into robust, well-tested data products.
- Mandatory experience with multithreading and concurrent processing.
- Experience optimizing low-latency performance for high-frequency trading systems.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with capital markets operations, client engagement models, or investment banking workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems such as Solace is preferred.
- Experience with entity resolution, graph-based data structures, or event-driven data products is preferred.
