Responsibilities
- Build performant backend features and systems for dynamic schemas and high-volume custom task data.
- Own end-to-end development from conception through production.
- Design and maintain scalable, high-throughput, low-latency services and robust APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product features.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing systems.
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent major.
- At least 5 years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput systems, ideally using Node.js.
- Strong programming ability with high-quality code, ideally in TypeScript.
- Experience writing and debugging SQL queries at scale.
- Experience developing event-based systems.
- Experience with major cloud services, ideally AWS.
- Strong communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, independent project delivery, and product-minded judgment.
