Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle for CNO software, including design, prototyping, development, release, deployment, and maintenance.
- Augment and modify existing tools and integrate products from other teams into mission-focused toolkits.
- Derive, document, and analyze requirements and build prototypes demonstrating mission understanding.
- Produce end-to-end toolsets that operate within mission constraints.
- Provide technical consulting and operational support to analysts, operators, customers, and other software engineers.
- Support fielded software systems and provide quick-reaction support for operations.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
Requirements
- Hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and have the stated required experience.
- Have a B.S. in a technical discipline, or qualify through four additional years of experience in place of the degree; an M.S. with four years of experience is also listed.
- Develop and modify software in C, C++, and Python with explicit network programming experience.
- Have reverse engineering experience and familiarity with Git and Subversion.
- Have experience with Atlassian tools, including Confluence, Jira, and Bamboo.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with users of differing technical backgrounds, including operators, analysts, and developers.
- Preferred experience includes Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust, Linux, Windows, embedded environments, vulnerability research, exploit development, malware reverse engineering, cryptography, SIGINT systems, and production CNO capabilities.
