Responsibilities
- Propose technical solutions based on customer requirements and collaborate with clients throughout project delivery.
- Plan and implement customer system integrations.
- Ensure network equipment and software configurations meet customer technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and take preventative or corrective actions during implementation.
- Develop customized tools and scripts for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Troubleshoot device communications, configurations, and complex issues with the Level 3 support team.
- Create effective and repeatable best-practice procedures for technical system elements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service or professional services experience working with customers.
- At least 2 years of experience with software applications deployed in Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience with core IP networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, and VPN.
- At least 2 years of experience with firewalls, IPSec and SSL VPNs, and load balancing.
- At least 2 years of experience with Oracle or MySQL databases and Microsoft Windows Server.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking issues using Wireshark, ping, traceroute, and packet analysis.
- Understanding of programming logic and ability to troubleshoot primarily Python scripts and SQL queries.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is valued.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, cloud infrastructure, business process design, process automation, or utility metering is preferred.
