Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Celonis extractors for SAP, JDBC databases, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other cloud applications.
- Design and build custom REST and SOAP API connectors using Celonis Extractor Builder, including authentication, pagination, rate limits, and incremental loads.
- Develop or advise on Python-based scripts and pipelines for push-based ingestion through the Celonis Data Ingestion API.
- Configure zero-copy data sharing between Celonis and customer lakehouses such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Configure Action Flows and other writeback integrations with systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and ticketing tools.
- Connect Celonis to customer LLMs and AI agents through MCP with appropriate authentication, permissions, and governance.
- Configure SSO and SCIM-based user and group provisioning with identity providers including Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Ping.
- Support customer security, privacy, and compliance reviews and explain Celonis architecture and data flows.
- Lead technical discovery, document integration requirements and architectures, estimate effort, and manage workstreams across customer projects.
- Escalate product gaps and bugs, provide field feedback, and create reusable connector templates, scripts, runbooks, and documentation.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, integration or implementation consulting, data engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, API keys, tokens, and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Solid programming skills in Python or a similar language and strong SQL skills.
- Working knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, incremental loads, scheduling, and handling large data volumes.
- Familiarity with SSO using SAML/OIDC and SCIM provisioning.
- Basic understanding of TLS, certificates, proxies, firewalls, VPNs, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Ability to explain technical topics to engineers and business stakeholders and manage multiple customer workstreams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with SAP data structures or extraction, including RFC, ODP, or S/4HANA.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, iPaaS or low-code tools, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, Docker, Linux server administration, or relevant certifications.
