Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and enterprise integrations across JCI platforms, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
- Define API standards, data contracts, integration patterns, security models, and access models.
- Design and guide AngularJS/Angular applications, including component architecture, state management, performance, scalability, and accessibility.
- Lead and mentor 6–10 engineers through code reviews, architecture guidance, technical coaching, and sprint-level delivery oversight.
- Own end-to-end technical delivery for CRM case management, work order lifecycle management, document generation, and automation workflows.
- Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, and proof-of-concepts.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, code quality gates, branching and release strategies, automated testing, and production release management.
- Drive performance, scalability, reliability, availability, security, compliance, observability, monitoring, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, architecture artifacts, user stories, and implementation plans.
- Partner with Product Owners on backlog priorities, release scope, and delivery milestones.
- Lead architecture reviews, RFCs, and technical deep-dives with information security, infrastructure, cloud, business, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Provide effort estimates, risk assessments, and long-term technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 10–14 years of experience, including 3+ years in a Tech Lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience leading enterprise application integrations.
- Hands-on expertise with C#/.NET backend services, AngularJS/Angular, RESTful APIs and integration patterns, and SharePoint integrations.
- Experience working with industrial or building management systems, preferably Johnson Controls platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, authentication, authorization, enterprise access, and entitlement models.
- Proven experience leading teams and driving delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience modernizing legacy industrial or building systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of middleware, event-driven architectures, or iPaaS platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise DevOps tooling and cloud-native deployments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders are preferred.
