Base Salary
$207k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers while aligning goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Develop mid-term technical visions and roadmaps for future requirements and infrastructure needs.
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale software solutions for ambiguous and complex problems.
- Guide system architecture by evaluating trade-offs and vetting designs for cohesion and scalability.
- Drive engineering excellence through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning through production monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or a relevant master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with LLMs and machine learning.
- At least 5 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go to design and maintain software applications.
- At least 5 years of experience with algorithm or data structure selection for improving scale, efficiency, reliability, or speed.
- At least 5 years of experience debugging and performing root cause analysis for code and firmware issues.
- At least 5 years of experience designing systems architectures for testability and resource configuration.
