Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning solutions and orchestrate complex data and agentic workflows.
- Design, build, evaluate, and optimize LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows.
- Integrate AI systems with external tools, APIs, MCP servers, and enterprise data sources.
- Develop evaluation approaches and frameworks for agent performance, reliability, and safety.
- Contribute to the Chariot AI operations platform and use field insights to shape product improvements.
- Collaborate directly with customers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps engineers on mission-critical deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering data-centric systems, including data engineering, data cleaning, ETL pipelines, machine learning, or production analytics.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or scikit-learn.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and at least one systems programming language such as Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with LLM-powered agents, agentic workflows, external tools, APIs, MCP servers, enterprise data, and agent evaluation.
- Familiarity with RAG, tool use, planning, and multi-agent architectures.
- US citizenship and eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret US security clearance.
- Advanced degree, client-server architecture experience, containerized or cloud deployment experience, unstructured data experience, complex technical solution delivery, team leadership, secure government technology delivery, or an active Secret-or-higher clearance are preferred.
