Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure multi-tenant infrastructure that isolates customer data and supports AI model serving.
- Build secure service templates, libraries, Terraform policies, and automation that make services production-ready by default.
- Own Terraform infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, including reusable modules and policy-as-code.
- Expand and operate alerting, detection, secrets management, IAM, and automated remediation platforms integrated with CI/CD and developer workflows.
- Translate SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR requirements into reliable, automated technical controls.
- Participate in security on-call and improve operability, runbooks, and incident learning.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure, with meaningful security exposure or strong interest in security.
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS, including compute, networking, IAM, and security services.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, plus experience building developer-facing tooling and automation.
- Strong coding ability in at least one systems language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience applying AI-assisted tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to improve engineering effectiveness.
- Experience with secure container deployment, service mesh, and Kubernetes security practices.
- Experience with observability and incident-response tooling, including instrumentation, alerting, and dashboards.
- Experience as an early or founding platform, infrastructure, or security engineer; internal platform development; software supply-chain security; static analysis; detection and response data pipelines; or enterprise compliance is preferred.
