Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand customer and user problems, define intended outcomes, and build small useful versions to test solutions.
- Write and ship production code across interfaces, APIs, integrations, data, and agent workflows.
- Use AI agents and emerging model capabilities throughout discovery, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and delivery.
- Experiment with new AI capabilities and turn effective capabilities into product features.
- Choose appropriate models, code, or existing tools based on the problem and desired product value.
- Own testing, observability, failure handling, maintainability, and verification of AI-generated output.
- Build security, privacy, and applicable compliance practices into production work.
- Work directly in customer and partner environments, deliver integrations, and convert customer learning into reusable capabilities.
- Instrument shipped work, evaluate adoption and outcomes, and adjust direction based on evidence.
Requirements
- Demonstrated history of building and shipping software that real users depend on.
- Technical fluency to implement, debug, and operate production software, with depth in at least one discipline such as engineering, product, design, or data.
- Experience using coding agents and other AI tools on shipped work, improving personal AI workflows, and explaining their impact.
- Regular experimentation with new AI capabilities, supported by working projects and an understanding of their limitations.
- Product sense, design judgment, and data fluency sufficient to understand customer needs, scope useful solutions, and assess outcomes.
- Strong verification habits and clear communication, including the ability to identify incorrect output, explain trade-offs, and involve specialists.
- Comfort working directly in customer and partner environments, including forward-deployment settings.
- Ability to balance speed, maintainability, security, privacy, and applicable compliance requirements in production work.
- Engineering, product, design, and founder backgrounds are all considered.
